This hiking route takes you to the Basílica de Santa Cruz del Valle de los Caídos in the Plaza de Cuelgamuros area. The trail is 1.716 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 72 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead. Just a short distance from the start, you can find the Hospedería Santa Cruz, a restaurant where you can grab a meal before or after your hike.
Further along the trail, at around 0.4 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another parking area. As you continue, you will pass by the Cruz de los Caídos, a historic monument and tourist attraction located 0.8 kilometers from the beginning of the route.
Near the end of the trail, at approximately 0.86 kilometers from the start, you will reach a peak known for its natural beauty. This spot offers a great vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery.
