This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Fuente de Máximo - Cañada Real Leonesa. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 6.533 kilometers with an elevation gain of 337 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you'll come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 0.44 kilometers into the hike, you'll find Fuente del Carnero, a spring where you can replenish your water supply. Further along the trail, at the 2.41 kilometer mark, you'll encounter Fuente de Valen and Fuente de Fernando, offering more opportunities to refill your water bottles.
Midway through the hike at approximately 3.27 kilometers, you'll reach two peaks - one is Fuente de la Hiedra, and the other is Fuente Nuestra Señora de las Nieves. These spots provide excellent vantage points to take in the surrounding landscapes.
Towards the end of the trail, at 4.81 kilometers, you'll find fuente de Gabarreros, another spring to quench your thirst. However, there is a peak located 1.68 kilometers away from the trail, which is not accessible on this route.
