This hiking route takes you to the picturesque area around Cascade de Louesque. The trail is 7.659 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 833 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by P4 Parking Anglas, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across Cardet, a parking area right on the trail. Around 1.59 kilometers into the hike, you will find some historic ruins to explore, followed by more ruins at 0.95 kilometers and 0.38 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at 1.92 kilometers from the start, you will reach Cabane de la Coste de Goua, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the views. Along the way, you will also encounter various water sources, including one at 0.42 kilometers and another at 3.55 kilometers from the start.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Cascade de Louesque, a beautiful waterfall located 3.83 kilometers from the start. Take some time to admire the cascading water before heading back.
