This hiking route will take you to Cascade de Louesque, a beautiful waterfall located in a scenic area. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 7.659 kilometers and an elevation gain of 833 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 51 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you'll come across some points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find P4 Parking Anglas, a convenient parking area for hikers. Further along, you'll encounter Cardet, a fee-free parking spot. As you continue, you'll pass by a water source around the midway point, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Around 1.59 kilometers into the hike, you'll find historic ruins, with more ruins scattered along the trail at 0.95 kilometers and 0.38 kilometers from the start. Additionally, at 1.92 kilometers, the Cabane de la Coste de Goua serves as a shelter where hikers can take a break and relax.
As you near the end of the hike, approximately 3.83 kilometers in, you'll be rewarded with the sight of Cascade de Louesque, the stunning waterfall that serves as the endpoint of the trail.
