This challenging hike takes you to the stunning Spitzhorli peak in the scenic area. The route covers a distance of 11.405 kilometers and has an elevation gain of 709 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the tranquil Hopschelsee lake, located just 0.78 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at the 4.08-kilometer mark, you will encounter another beautiful water feature.
Throughout the hike, you will come across useful amenities such as parking areas with no fees, ensuring a convenient starting point for your adventure. Additionally, there are informative signposts and rest areas to enhance your hiking experience.
