This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Foggenhorn. The trail is 11.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 897 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 5 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Sennerei Alpe Bel, a local farm where you can stop and enjoy some local produce.
Around 1.7 kilometers in, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area. Continuing on, at 1.2 kilometers from the start, there is a water source where you can refill your bottle.
As you make your way towards Foggenhorn, you will pass by a bench located just 0.1 kilometers off the trail. At the midway point of the hike, you will reach the peak of Foggenhorn, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
On your way back, you will encounter another information point named Täätsche, as well as a fountain where you can take a refreshing break. About 1.5 kilometers from the start, there is another information point called Alpe Bäll.
