Located in the beautiful alpine region, this hiking route to Bornass offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The trail spans a distance of 7.44 kilometers with an elevation gain of 607 meters, making it a difficult but exhilarating journey.
As you start your adventure, you will come across useful amenities such as a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for the hike, as the route does not have any drinking water sources along the way.
About 2.52 kilometers into the trail, you will find informative signposts that provide insights into the surrounding area. A wayside shrine, Capitello Mariano, adds a touch of history and culture to your hike, located just 0.11 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the trek, at around 3.72 kilometers, you will encounter the alpine hut, Bornass, offering a cozy resting spot with stunning mountain views.
