This hiking route in the Binn area is an extremely difficult 13.721-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 979 meters. It is recommended for experienced hikers due to its challenging terrain.
Starting at the Alpe Devero parking area, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. Along the way, you will pass by a drinking water station at 0.4 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing break as you continue on your hike.
As you progress further, at 4.54 kilometers from the start, you will reach another water point. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle and rest for a bit before pushing onward.
Midway through your hike, at 5.67 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Chriegalppass saddle, offering stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. This is a perfect place to take in the beauty of the area and snap some photos.
Continuing on, at 4.58 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bivacco Combi e Lanza wilderness hut and shelter. This could be a good resting spot to catch your breath before heading back.
Before you reach the endpoint, at 0.66 kilometers from the start, you will see the campsite where you can set up camp if you wish to stay overnight and further explore the area.
