Starting at an elevation of 1147 meters, you will begin your journey towards Le Grand Ventron. As you hike along the 870 km trail with an elevation gain of 34 meters, you will pass by several notable points of interest.

One of the first points of interest you will encounter is the Refuge du Grand Ventron, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain scenery. Further along the trail, you will come across the Auberge de la Chaume du Grand Ventron, a restaurant where you can refuel and rest before continuing your hike.

As you ascend towards the peak of Le Grand Ventron, you will pass by a parking area for those arriving by car. The peak itself offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot to stop and take in the beauty of the landscape.
