This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Tschingel peak. Starting at the Oberer Parkplatz parking area, you will follow the trail for 6.5 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 688 meters.

Along the way, you will pass by the Tschingel peak, located 3.27 kilometers from the start. You can also find a drinking water station and a bench 0.07 kilometers from the start to take a break and enjoy the views. Further along the trail, at the 1.11-kilometer mark, you will come across the Kurhaus/Axalp information center.

If you need to refuel, the Axalp Stübli restaurant is located nearby at the 0.92-kilometer mark. For those interested in artwork, there is an artwork installation about 0.0 kilometers from the start.

As you head back, you can rest at the Sitzbank bench located 0.92 kilometers from the start. Don't forget to check out the Chüemad information point at the 1.61-kilometer mark.

The trail offers stunning views throughout, but be prepared for a difficult hike due to the length and elevation gain. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
