This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Tour du Pin area, offering stunning views and a challenging hike. The total distance of the route is 7.672 kilometers with an elevation gain of 492 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by various points of interest along the trail. Just at the beginning, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Further along the trail, about 1.57 kilometers from the start, you will come across Roc Traucat, a notable peak in the area.

Continuing on, at around 3.84 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic Tour du Pin castle and the A Roger Gailhard memorial, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. Additionally, you will pass by attractions such as the Pressoir and the viewpoint of Tour du Pin, providing a perfect spot to take in the surrounding scenery.

Further along the trail, about 2.56 kilometers from the start, you will find La Baume peak and at 1.86 kilometers the Col du Roc Traucat saddle. These points offer unique vantage points to admire the landscape and take a well-deserved rest.

As you trek back, you will have the opportunity to explore more historic sites such as the San Julio ruins and cave entrance at 1.74 and 2.46 kilometers from the start, respectively. These points add an extra layer of intrigue to your hiking experience.

Throughout the hike, you will find several benches situated along the trail, providing a place to rest and take in the surroundings. Remember to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging yet rewarding adventure.
