This hike takes you on a 7.5 km out-and-back trail to the beautiful destination of Camino a Castilnegro. The route offers a total elevation gain of 241 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for hikers.
Starting off, you'll pass by various points of interest along the way. At around 0.72 km from the start, you'll find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. As you continue on, you'll come across attractions such as Addax y camello bactriano, Bison, Grevy's Zebras, Warthogs, and Yaks scattered throughout the trail.
Around 2.11 km into the hike, at Mina Complemento, an archaeological site awaits you off the trail. Further along, at approximately 0.45 km from the start, you'll encounter a water feature to take in. Additionally, there are informational points along the way to learn more about the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, at a distance of 3.76 km, you'll reach Castro de Castilnegro, another archaeological site with historical significance. Nearby, there's also a viewpoint, Mirador del Rubí, providing stunning scenery of the area.
