Welcome to the Mendener Höhe hiking route in Mülheim an der Ruhr! This super easy route covers a distance of approximately 1.335 kilometers with an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you through a picturesque landscape with various points of interest along the way. About 0.13 kilometers from the start, you'll come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. As you continue, you'll spot several benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Midway through the hike, at around 0.67 kilometers from the start, you'll find a water point perfect for refilling your bottles. Nearby, there are also ruins with a historic significance, adding a cultural touch to your outdoor experience.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll pass by more benches and another water point at 0.67 kilometers from the start. If you're interested in wildlife, you can make a brief detour to the Arche-Park Tiergehege Witthausbusch (Wildgatter) zoo, located just off the trail.
