This challenging 8.488-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking peak of Kukla. The trail starts near the parking area at the trailhead, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as the elevation gain is 422.0 meters and the duration of the hike is estimated to be around 3 hours.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the historic wayside shrine of Kotredež, located 1.21 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the path, at 0.24 kilometers from the starting point, you will find a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

During the hike, you will pass by the charming Gasilček bar, situated 1.21 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Nearby, at 1.23 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the memorial Spomenik padlim v 2. svetovni vojni, adding a touch of history to your adventure.

As you continue your ascent, you will reach the wayside shrine Kapelica device Marije, located 1.31 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Finally, after a challenging climb, you will reach the peak of Kukla at 4.24 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
