This extremely difficult 11.06-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Tschingellochtighorn peak. The journey begins at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. As you start your hike, you will pass by a water source about 2.31 kilometers into the trail.

Around 4.8 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point marked with a picture symbol. This can be a great spot to take a break and learn more about the area.

At approximately 5.47 kilometers, you will reach the Tschingellochtighorn peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you will encounter a shelter, a bench, and a BBQ area within a short distance from each other, making it a convenient place to rest and refuel.

Further along the trail, about 2.38 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point named Engstligenalp 1940m. This could be another interesting spot to explore during your hike.

The route also takes you past the Engstligenfälle waterfall, located approximately 1.46 kilometers from the starting point. Be sure to take in the beauty of this natural wonder along your journey.

For sustenance, there are restaurants like Restaurant Bergbach and Steinbock along the route to grab a meal or snack. Additionally, there are benches placed strategically along the trail for hikers to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Given the length of the hike and the elevation gain of 1226 meters, this trail is considered extremely difficult. Make sure to pack plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
