This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Alpschelenhubel in a beautiful area. The total distance of the hike is 8.275 kilometers with an elevation gain of 610 meters, making it a difficult trail that will take approximately 3 hours and 26 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Bergrestaurant Lohner, a restaurant situated just 28 meters from the trail where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the parking area just 9 meters away, providing a convenient spot to leave your vehicle.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.14 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Alpschelenhubel viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. This is a great place to take a break and soak in the scenery before heading back.

If you're looking for more adventure, you can explore the Klettergebiet Ueschenen climbing area located 3.52 and 2.54 kilometers from the start, respectively. These spots are a bit off the main trail but worth the extra effort for those interested in climbing.

Towards the end of the hike, at about 4.12 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape below.
