This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Montahut. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 10.553 kilometers and an elevation gain of 743 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 4 hours and 18 minutes, with a difficulty level categorized as difficult.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.03 kilometers from the trail. Further along, at 0.06 kilometers, you'll find L'auberge, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat. Make sure to fill up your water bottles at the drinking water station located 0.08 kilometers from the trail.

As you continue on, at the midway point of 5 kilometers, you'll reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Keep going, and at 5.28 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Montahut, known as Roc Tiremanric, where you can take in breathtaking views from the top.

During your hike, you'll also pass by notable landmarks such as Col d’Ourliades at 4.71 kilometers and Roc d’Ourliades at 4.57 kilometers. As you near the end of the trail, at 3.56 kilometers, you'll come across Col du Griffoulas, another saddle point along the route.

For a refreshing break, make a slight detour of 0.36 kilometers to visit the Cascade du Castan Rousset waterfall or explore the Source ferrugineuse spring located 0.45 kilometers away from the trail.
