This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Gruberhorn. The trail is 4.742 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 370 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Reithütte, a restaurant and alpine hut located 0.36 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will come across Posch'nhütte, another restaurant and alpine hut right on the trail. Gennersattel, a natural saddle, is located 1.89 kilometers from the start and offers a picturesque viewpoint along the way.
As you hike further, you will reach a spring at 1.77 kilometers from the start where you can refill your water bottles. Finally, the endpoint of the trail is Gruberhorn, a peak located 2.37 kilometers from the start. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point.
