This challenging hiking route spans a distance of 7.405 kilometers with no significant elevation gain. The trail starts at Risi parking lot and meanders through picturesque landscapes. Along the route, hikers will encounter several points of interest.

Approximately 2.07 kilometers from the start, you will find the historic Schloss Aarwangen castle, standing majestically just a short distance from the trail. Further along, at 0.59 kilometers from the start, there are two natural water features that offer a tranquil spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

As you continue on, at 1.74 kilometers from the beginning, there is a drinking water station for hikers to refill their bottles. Additionally, at 2.19 kilometers from the start, a shelter provides a place to seek refuge in case of unexpected weather changes.

Near the end of the trail, at 2.07 kilometers from the start, you will find the River Pub and Gasthof zum Bären restaurant for a well-deserved meal after your hike.
