This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and historic attractions. The trail is super easy, with a total distance of approximately 2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your hike. As you continue on, about halfway through the hike, you will reach a viewpoint called "水木自親碼頭" offering a picturesque scene of the surroundings. Further along the trail, at around the 1-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of "万寿山", where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area.
Along the trail, you will also encounter various facilities such as shelters like "荟亭" and "含新亭" where you can take a rest. There are also attractions like "颐和园" and "德和园" to explore along the way. Additionally, there are dining options and benches for your convenience.
As you reach the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to visit "佛香阁" before heading back. Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an adequate water supply, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast. This out-and-back hike offers a delightful mix of nature, history, and scenic viewpoints, making it a wonderful outdoor adventure for hikers of all ages.
