This challenging hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area around Pizzetto. The trail spans a distance of 9.218 kilometers with an elevation gain of 854 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area about 0.61 kilometers from the trailhead. Around the 4.42-kilometer mark, there is a tranquil water source offering a refreshing break from the ascent.

Midway through the journey at 4.61 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Pizzetto, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the trail, you will also find the Ristoro Alpe Sol cafe, a perfect spot to refuel and rest before continuing on.

As you make your way back, you can explore the historic Madonna del Rosario wayside shrine located 0.56 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are several other points of interest such as the fountain at 0.57 kilometers and the artwork Stemma Marco Aurelio balbis bertonio at 0.55 kilometers.
