Located in the picturesque region of South Tyrol, this hiking route will take you to the Pietersteiner Alm, a charming mountain hut nestled in the Alps. The trail starts at an elevation of 863 meters and gradually ascends to 2039 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by several parking areas where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. The first point of interest along the route is the Kohlgrube pub, a great spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing drink before continuing on your way.

Further along the trail, you will come across the Treff Punkt cafe, where you can take a break and soak in the alpine ambiance. Make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the nearby drinking water fountains.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Pietersteiner Alm viewpoint, located 4 kilometers from the starting point. From here, you can admire panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it the perfect spot to rest and snap some photos.

With a total distance of 9.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1171 meters, this trail is of moderate difficulty and is suitable for hikers with some experience. Make sure to wear sturdy hiking boots, bring plenty of water, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this memorable alpine adventure.
