This extremely difficult circular hiking route, known as Route du Mas, covers a distance of 13.25 kilometers with an elevation gain of 549 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 4 hours and 26 minutes, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

The trail starts at Parking Espace Maguelon, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your journey. As you venture along the path, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.08 kilometers from the start, you will reach a picturesque picnic site, perfect for a rest stop or enjoying a meal surrounded by nature.

Further along the trail, at around 5.05 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the historic ruins of an ancient glacier, adding a touch of mystery to your hike. The Col de la Prade, a saddle with stunning views, lies at approximately 5.05 kilometers from the beginning of the route, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.47 kilometers from the start, you'll find multiple natural water sources, offering a refreshing opportunity to refill your water bottle and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the area.
