Hiking : Cimon del Latemar - Diamantiditurm

This hiking route takes you through the stunning Cimon del Latemar area, known for its breathtaking peaks and picturesque landscapes. The trail is approximately 14.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1334 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by Agritur Malga Secine, a charming restaurant located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across Passo di Costalunga - Karerpass, a scenic saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Cimon del Latemar - Diamantiditurm, a majestic peak that stands tall at 6.71 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the stunning views of the area.

Further along the trail, you will encounter Forcella Grande del Latenar - Große Latemarscharte, another beautiful saddle that provides a perfect vantage point for photos. Make sure to stop by Bivacco Mario Rigatti, a cozy shelter located 6.12 kilometers from the start, for a quick rest before continuing your journey.

As you reach the latter part of the hike, you will pass by Col Cornon, a striking peak that adds to the dramatic beauty of the landscape. Finally, you will loop back to the starting point, completing the circular route.
