This extremely difficult 11.73-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Graue Wand - Croda Grigia in a remote area known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking views.
Starting at the parking area located right on the trail, you'll begin your journey towards the peak. Along the way, you'll pass by the Finailhof restaurant where you can fuel up before continuing. As you push further, you'll come across the tranquil Finailsee, a picturesque water body 2.73 kilometers from the start, offering a serene spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, at 4.31 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Fineiljoch saddle, a perfect vantage point to admire the surrounding landscapes. The final stretch of the trail will lead you to the main attraction, Graue Wand - Croda Grigia, standing tall at 5.87 kilometers from the start. From this peak, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks, making the challenging hike well worth the effort.
