This challenging out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Kreuzspitze peak. The trail covers a distance of 9.451 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1190 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting off, you'll pass by a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you'll encounter a fountain located close to the starting point, providing a refreshing stop for hikers. Around 3.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Klosteralm restaurant, offering a great spot to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

During the journey, you'll come across several viewpoints with benches where you can take a break and admire the beautiful surroundings. There's also a historic wayside cross along the trail, adding a cultural element to the hike. Further along, at around 4.73 kilometers, you'll reach the Kreuzspitze peak, boasting incredible panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint.
