This challenging 8.07-kilometer hiking route will take you to the Agiña peak and back. The trail starts at the Aiako Arria Natural Park and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Akolako saroia archaeological site, located just 0.07 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 0.57 kilometers, you'll come across the Alkatxuraingo saroia archaeological site.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 1.02 kilometers, you can take a short detour to see a beautiful waterfall. As you continue, you'll reach Iturralde information point and Txirrita artwork at 1.42 kilometers.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the Agiña peak at 4.04 kilometers. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the park. On your way back, you'll pass by the Erkaitz peak at 3.81 kilometers.
Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter boundary stones and historical landmarks that add to the charm of the trail. Make sure to bring enough water, as the trail can be strenuous due to its length and elevation gain of 545 meters.
