This hiking route is a challenging 9.385-kilometer out-and-back trail that will take you approximately 3 hours and 24 minutes to complete. The route has an elevation gain of 492 meters, so be prepared for some steep inclines and rocky terrain.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll first come across the "Ground Jack" campsite just 0.09 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you'll pass by a parking area and a water source which are conveniently located at the beginning of the trail.
Around the 0.96-kilometer mark, you'll encounter "Il Bidet della Contessa," a scenic water spot perfect for a quick break. Further along at 1.05 kilometers, you'll come across a unique rock formation known as "Luna Nascente."
At the 2.65-kilometer mark, you'll reach "Rifugio Rasega," an alpine hut where you can take a rest and refuel before continuing on. "Rifugio Mello" is another alpine hut you'll find at 1.49 kilometers into the hike, offering a picturesque setting for a break.
As you reach the midpoint of the trail, you'll come across "Sasso dei Veronesi," a popular climbing spot, as well as "Ca dei Scuma," a cozy restaurant perfect for grabbing a meal.
At around 3.72 kilometers, you'll find a waterfall called "destination_name," offering a refreshing break from the hike. Make sure to fill up your water bottle at one of the drinking water points along the trail to stay hydrated.
Towards the end of the route, at 4.69 kilometers, you'll reach "Casera Pioda," an alpine hut where you can take in the stunning views before making your way back.
