You are about to embark on the Sentier Côtier hiking route, located in a beautiful coastal area. This circular route has a distance of approximately 1.221 kilometers and features a gentle elevation gain, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the trailhead, providing convenient access to the starting point. Along the way, at a distance of 0.08 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach Port Pigeon beach, where you can take a moment to enjoy the scenic views and maybe even dip your toes in the water.
Continuing on, at around 0.18 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a beautiful fountain where you can refill your water bottle and take a short break. As you reach the midpoint of the hike, approximately 0.61 kilometers in, you will find a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Towards the end of the hike, at the same 0.61-kilometer mark, there is a bench where you can sit and relax before completing the circular route. Make sure to bring an adequate supply of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this leisurely coastal adventure.
