This hiking route in the Pukamuqu area is super easy and covers a distance of 0.803 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at a parking area located at the beginning of the route.
Along the way, hikers will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Further along, at around 0.36 kilometers into the hike, there is another parking area with no fees.
One of the attractions along the trail is Sayaqmarka, an archaeological site with opening hours from Monday to Sunday, 07:00-17:30. Another point of interest is Cristo Blanco, an artwork located about 0.39 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Chinkana Chica, an attraction, is located off the trail at 0.0 kilometers from the start. A waterfall, located midway through the hike at approximately 0.26 kilometers from the start, offers a refreshing stop for hikers.
Cristo Blanco memorial and Cristo Blanco Mirador viewpoint are situated at around 0.4 kilometers from the start of the trail, along with Pukamuqu peak, located 3.915777663963958 meters from the trail.
