Welcome to the hiking route to Hochkarfelderkopf, a challenging and extremely difficult 10.164-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1239 meters.
Starting at Karalm, a restaurant located at the beginning of the trail, you'll pass by Tagweide peak, which is approximately 3.88 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in the stunning views and rest before continuing your journey.
Midway through the hike, at 2.99 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the saddle known as First, offering a picturesque spot to take a break and refuel. As you trek further, you'll encounter Hochkarfelderkopf peak at the end of the trail, standing tall at 5.08 kilometers from the start.
Along the way, you'll also come across valuable information points and a refreshing spring located at 1.59 kilometers from the start.
Keep in mind that the trail includes points of interest such as Schallwand peak and a cave entrance at a distance of 2.85 kilometers and 3.56 kilometers from the start, respectively.
