The Königsweg hiking route is a moderate out-and-back trail that spans a distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 227 meters. The trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty.

As you embark on this hiking adventure, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Hinterbrand parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Further along, you will encounter the Dr.-Hugo-Beck-Haus, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can rest and grab a bite to eat.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Halbzeit restaurant, which is the perfect spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey. Along the trail, you will also come across benches where you can sit and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

One of the highlights of the hike is the waterfall located 0.73 kilometers from the start, offering a refreshing and serene atmosphere. As you make your way back, don't forget to visit the viewpoints at 2.57 kilometers and 2.77 kilometers from the start, where you can marvel at the breathtaking vistas.
