Welcome to the Schneibstein hiking route!

Located in a picturesque area, this extremely difficult 14.647-kilometer hike offers stunning views and a challenging terrain for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1228 meters, this circular route will take you approximately 6 hours and 27 minutes to complete.

Starting at Hinterbrand, you will begin your journey along the trail, passing by several points of interest. Along the way, you will encounter the Schneibsteinhaus alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further along the trail, you will come across historic boundary stones, each with its own unique significance.

As you continue your ascent, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stop by the Schneibstein waterfall and various viewpoints to take in the beauty of the area. The route culminates at the peak of Schneibstein, where you can revel in a sense of accomplishment and enjoy panoramic views.

Throughout the hike, remember to stay hydrated, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out. This hike is not recommended for beginners due to its steep inclines and rocky terrain.
