This extremely difficult 14.951 km circular hiking route in the Farnleiten area offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 799.0 meters and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 27 minutes, this route is not for the faint of heart.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Hinterbrand parking area, located at the start of the trail. This is a good spot to park your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Schneibsteinhaus alpine hut, situated 4.37 km from the start. This cozy hut is a great place to rest and refuel before continuing your trek.

Further along the trail, at the 7.46 km mark, you will reach the peak of Farnleiten, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to stop and take in the beauty of the landscape before moving on.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by the Mitterkaseralm restaurant, the Scheffelspitze peak, and various information points and benches for your convenience. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this trail can be demanding.
