This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Stabiello, leading you to the beautiful Lago di Ledù. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at Stabiello.
The total distance of the hike is approximately 10.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1414 meters, making it extremely difficult. The estimated duration for this hike is around 6 hours and 4 minutes.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. Further along, at a distance of 3.27 kilometers from the start, you will find drinking water available to refill your supplies. Additionally, there are several information points along the trail to provide you with insights about the area.
One of the notable points of interest along the trail is the Bivacco Petazzi al Lago Ledù, a wilderness hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. The hut is located approximately 5.46 kilometers from the start.
You will also pass by the La Caduta dei Giganti climbing area, which is situated at a distance of 1.74 kilometers from the start. Another highlight is the Bocchetta del Cannone saddle, located at 5.11 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
