This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Passo del Bernina. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 2.856 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a saddle known as Passo del Bernina, located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty and snap some photos.
Along the way, you will pass by several water features, including a water source 0.18 kilometers into the hike and another one at 0.26 kilometers. It's always a good idea to refill your water bottles at these points to stay hydrated throughout the hike.
For those driving to the trailhead, there are parking areas available at the start of the hike and another one 0.02 kilometers into the trail. Just make sure to check if any fees apply before leaving your vehicle.
Further along the trail, at around 1.21 kilometers, you will encounter another water source, followed by more at 1.43, 1.32, 1.25, and 1.43 kilometers into the hike. These are great places to take a break, refill your water supply, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, approximately 0.46 kilometers in, you will come across another water source. Take your time to rest and appreciate the natural landscapes around you.
Near the end of the trail, at 0.36 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings.
