This extremely difficult 12.396-kilometer circular hike will lead you through the stunning area of Katzinger. The trail starts at Hinterschriefling Wanderparkplatz where you can park your car conveniently. As you begin your journey, you will come across Moosquell, a drinking water source just 90 meters from the trail.

While hiking, you will encounter several benches along the way where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a bench just 590 meters in, followed by another one at 1.44 kilometers and another at 1.51 kilometers.

For informational points of interest, keep an eye out for various signs. You will find an information point at 860 meters, providing insights about the area. Further down the trail, there are more informational spots at 1.31 kilometers, 1.44 kilometers, and 1.6 kilometers.

As you hike, you will also come across some natural attractions. The peak, Katzinger, is located 5.87 kilometers into the hike. This prominent peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Remember to bring enough water and snacks for this challenging hike, especially considering the 1106-meter elevation gain. Additionally, it's essential to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
