This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is 8.043 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 878 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 3 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a restaurant called Ganischger Alm located 1.52 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail, about 1.22 kilometers from the start, you will find Latemar Hütte, another restaurant.
As you continue on, at around 1.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach Baita della Scofa, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Rifugio Torre di Pisa, an alpine hut and accommodation option, is situated 4.02 kilometers from the start, making it a great place to rest before heading back.
Along the route, there are also a few cafes such as Ski Bar at the beginning of the trail and another cafe at 0.04 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are informational points scattered throughout the hike providing insight into the area.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Cima Valbona, a peak located 3.88 kilometers from the start. The trail offers benches along the way, allowing hikers to take breaks and enjoy the scenery.
