This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 13.39-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 604 meters along the "vía a piedras Blancas a Santa Elena" in Medellin.
The trail starts at a parking area and relatively quickly you will come across a cafe called "La cruz" followed by another cafe named "Asadero de pollos La cruz." These spots are perfect for a quick break at the beginning of your hike.
As you make your way along the trail, about 6.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach several picnic sites that offer a great place to rest and enjoy some food amidst nature. Continuing further, at around 6.7 kilometers from the start, you will find a waterfall called "Chorro Clarín" which is a beautiful natural attraction to witness.
