This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding journey in a beautiful area. The trail covers a distance of 13.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 604 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and strength.
The hike starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you begin your journey, you will come across La cruz, a cafe where you can grab a quick bite or drink to fuel up for the hike ahead. Further along the trail, you will pass by Asadero de pollos La cruz, another cafe where you can take a break and refuel.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.61 kilometers from the start, you will find multiple picnic sites where you can stop and enjoy a meal while admiring the scenic surroundings. These picnic sites offer a perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate before continuing your trek.
As you approach the destination, Chorro Clarín, you will come across Camping, a campsite where you can spend the night if you choose to extend your hike. Near the campsite, you will also find a picnic site and the beautiful waterfall, Chorro Clarín, providing a picturesque setting to relax and unwind.
