This extremely difficult 22.544 km out-and-back hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding terrain with an elevation gain of 1093 meters. The trail starts at a parking area located at the trailhead. Before starting your journey, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast.

As you begin your hike, approximately 7.25 km into the trail, you'll come across a picturesque water feature where you can take a short break and enjoy the natural surroundings. Continuing on, at around 7.29 km, you'll find the Berggasthaus Sennisalp restaurant where you can refuel and relax before continuing your adventure.

Around the midway point of 11.27 km, you'll reach the Luegi viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take some time to soak in the beauty of the landscape before heading back on the trail.

On the way back, approximately 1.02 km from the start, you'll encounter the Berschnerfall waterfall, adding a touch of serenity to your hike. Additionally, 2.06 km from the start, you'll find Forggels information point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Throughout the hike, be prepared for challenging terrain and steep inclines. Make sure to pace yourself and take breaks when needed. With careful planning and preparation, this hike offers a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Luegi region.
