This challenging hiking route will take you through the picturesque area of Sternen. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.23 kilometers and an elevation gain of 424 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you can visit Fuederegg, a restaurant located just 0.1 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing your adventure. Further along the trail, approximately 1.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach Stäfel, another restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
For those driving to the trailhead, there is parking available at the start of the hike, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you continue on your trek, you will pass by Sternen, a restaurant situated 3.09 kilometers from the start, and Yeti-Hüttä, another restaurant located 2.04 kilometers from the beginning.
During your hike, you will also come across informative spots such as information points at various locations along the trail, providing insight into the area's history and natural features. Additionally, there is a free flying site at Sternen, 3.62 kilometers from the start, where you can enjoy paragliding or take in the stunning views from the takeoff point.
As you near the turnaround point of the hike, approximately 3.2 kilometers from the start, you will reach Chli Stärnen, a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
