This hiking route will take you to the stunning Rossstock peak in a beautiful alpine setting. The trail is 10.011 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1138 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 9 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Chäppeliberg LSB information point, providing some interesting insights into the area. Continuing on, you will pass by the Lidernenhütte SAC alpine hut, a perfect spot for a rest and to take in the surrounding views. Further along the trail, you will encounter the impressive rock formations, adding to the rugged beauty of the landscape.

At the peak of Rossstock, located 5.01 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. On your way back, you can stop by the Rossstock water source, approximately 3.17 kilometers from the start, to refill your water supply.

It is important to note that the trail begins at the parking area, so make sure to park your car at the designated spot before starting the hike. As this is a difficult hike with significant elevation gain, it is essential to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
