Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Oratoire Idoux wayside shrine which is located 0.32 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the route, you will find a water source at 0.43 kilometers from the start, but it's just off the trail.

As you continue your journey, there are several parking areas available for your convenience, some are right on the trail while others are a bit further away. You will also encounter the Le Relais du Château restaurant at 0.07 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot for a meal break.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Gallienstein rock formation located at 3.02 kilometers from the start. This natural wonder provides a great opportunity for some scenic photographs. Additionally, you will pass by the Inondation de 1875 information point and the Croix rurale Dontenville wayside cross, both located 0.05 kilometers from the start.

The route loops back at the Gallienstein destination, which is also the turnaround point for this out-and-back trail. Along the way, it is recommended to carry an adequate water supply, wear proper footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
