This extremely difficult 15.993-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a stunning alpine landscape, starting at the Parking de la Gruvaz. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging adventure.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Parking de la Gruvaz and continue on the trail towards the Refuge de Miage, located 3.82 kilometers from the start. This alpine hut provides a cozy and welcoming resting spot for hikers. Further along the trail at 3.83 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a historic wayside shrine offering a glimpse into the region's cultural heritage.
Around 5.16 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter a beautiful waterfall, perfect for a refreshing break. As you continue onwards, you'll reach the Refuge de Plan Glacier at 7.84 kilometers from the start, where you can recharge and take in the breathtaking mountain views.
