This hiking route will take you through the beautiful San Dionisio area, offering stunning views and a challenging adventure. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 8.982 kilometers and an elevation gain of 964 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 29 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find a fountain where you can refill your water bottle. Continuing on, at around 1.19 kilometers from the start, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 2.93 kilometers from the start, you will reach a wayside cross and a drinking water station located at a saddle called Forcella Antracisa. This is a great spot to rest and hydrate before continuing your ascent. At the same location, there is also Col de la Cross, a peak that offers panoramic views of the area.

As you approach the turnaround point of the hike, about 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another peak called San Dionisio, along with an information center where you can learn more about the area. Additionally, there is a waterfall named Cascata del Pissandro nearby, perfect for a peaceful stop before heading back.
