Welcome to the hiking route to Arnstein! Arnstein is a beautiful area known for its historic castle ruins and natural caves. This out-and-back route covers a distance of 2.184 kilometers with an elevation gain of 162 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting off the trail, you will come across a convenient parking area, just 0.01 kilometers from the trailhead. As you continue onwards, at a distance of 1.08 kilometers, you will find a climbing spot and the impressive Ruine Arnstein castle ruins.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the peak of Arnstein, Schnattihöhle and Burghöhle caves, Arnsteinnadel, Arnsteinhöhle cave entrance, Tigerhöhle cave entrance, Arnsteinlöcher cave entrance, and Arnsteinschluf cave entrance. These natural wonders add an adventurous touch to the hike, with some located closer to the start and others towards the end of the trail.

For a quick break, there is a restaurant named Pizzeria Mafiosi located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, benches and wayside crosses are scattered along the route for resting and soaking in the scenic views.
