The Alpspitzweg hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the surrounding nature. The trail is approximately 3.3 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 296 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the route. About midway through the hike, there is a biergarten where hikers can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Along the way, there are benches for resting and an alpine hut called BergLodge where hikers can take a longer break.

As you continue on the trail, you'll come across informational points that provide details about the area, including a panorama map with peak names. There are also viewpoints where you can stop and admire the scenery. Towards the end of the hike, there are restaurants like Panoramahütte Alpspitz and Berggasthof Sportheim Böck where you can refuel after your trek.

Additionally, there are historic sites such as a wayside cross and facilities like benches scattered throughout the route for hikers' convenience.
