This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is 1.88 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
You will start your journey at a parking area and quickly come across an alpine hut called Josef-Franz-Hütte, located about 0.94 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
As you continue along the trail, you will come across a viewpoint with a bench where you can stop and take in the breathtaking views, approximately 0.08 kilometers from the start. Further along, there is an information point and another bench nearby, around 0.38 kilometers into the hike.
Around the 0.4 kilometer mark, you will encounter the Steigenbergerkreuz wayside cross, adding a touch of history to your adventure. Continuing on, you will find two picnic sites, one at 0.92 kilometers and the other at 0.94 kilometers from the trailhead, perfect for a rest and a snack.
Near the end of the trail, at approximately 0.89 kilometers, you will reach a peak with another picnic site and a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
