This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and convenient facilities along the way. The trail is 2.444 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 38 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas, some of which are right at the beginning of the trail, while others are a bit further away. Along the route, you will also come across benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. There are also multiple drinking water stations and a restaurant called Trattoria da Lillo if you need to refuel during your hike.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter various water features such as ponds and streams, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. About halfway through the hike, you will reach a viewpoint called Terrazza del Castello del Belvedere, where you can take in panoramic views of the area.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the destination - Belvedere Porta dei Givi, another scenic viewpoint that offers a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, there is a bar called Carozzo where you can grab a drink before heading back.
