Hiking : Sommet de la Serre Traversière

This hiking route takes you through the stunning area near Sommet de la Serre Traversière. With a distance of 12.75 kilometers and an elevation gain of 227 meters, this hike is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across Lac de Crouès, a beautiful water body located just 0.84 kilometers from the trail. Further along the way, at 1.67 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Lac de Paloumères, another picturesque lake.

Approximately midway through the hike, you will reach Port de Balès, a saddle located right on the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surrounding scenery.

As you continue on, you will pass by Sommet de la Serre Traversière, a peak that is 6.38 kilometers from the starting point. This is a notable landmark along the route and offers stunning panoramic views.

Although the trail will lead you to Mail de Salières, a peak located 5.07 kilometers from the start, reaching the summit of Pic de Pouy Pradaus (2.81 kilometers from the trail) will require some off-trail navigation.
